Experience

Owner/Founder, Shore Cycles

Shore Cycles is an independent motorcycle shop in Salisbury, Maryland. I founded the brand in 2015 to fill a void in that market between the “big box” mega-dealers and the very small repair shops. What started in an old 1200 square foot building scaled to a 5000+ square foot dealership in the heart of the town’s automotive district.

  • Created the Shore Cycles brand and built the dealership to $1.3+ million ARR

  • Led nine consecutive years of growth

  • Oversaw all hiring, team leadership, training, and culture development

  • Oversaw inventory management, sales forecasting, and demand planning

  • Directed all marketing, including social media/Meta suite management, events coordination, and store design/product placement

  • Built a team of dedicated professionals, including managers in every department

  • Cultivated relationships with all major industry suppliers and became a leading dealer in our market

  • Impacted the local community through direct involvement with various motorcycle groups and charities

  • Oversaw all basic accounting, including expense management, Quickbooks, and dealership financing

  • Built a true “brand” which includes multiple successful custom apparel launches, logos, and more

  • Led renovations of our flagship store while maintaining uninterrupted store operations at our former location

  • Successfully sold the business to a long-term employee in 2024

Owner/Founder, College Scooters

College Scooters is one of the nation’s premier motor scooter dealerships. located just outside of Washington DC in College Park, Maryland. The store sells and services all major brands of motor scooters, and has since expanded to electric offerings. The brand is successful part of the DC area’s need for alternative, efficient transportation, and serves a broad range of customers, including DC urban professionals, low income commuters, delivery drivers, and university students.

  • At age 19, founded one of the leading motor scooter dealerships in the country with my best friend from high school

  • Oversaw all hiring, team leadership, training, and culture development

  • Oversaw inventory management, sales forecasting, and demand planning

  • Directed all marketing, including social media/Meta suite management, events coordination, and store design/product placement

  • Employed 100+ employees over a ten year career, with a strong focus on diversity in background and skills

  • Led our team to multiple Top 10 USA dealer awards from the best brands in the industry

  • Oversaw multiple store expansions and construction/renovations of all stores

  • Fostered partnerships with large scale organizations, including University of Maryland and Children’s National Hospital

  • Sold the business to an outside investor in 2020, after ten successful years of ownership
